MEET THE TEAM

Masud Alam holds a prominent position as the Principal Engineer and President of GESTRA, with over 39 years of experience in the geotechnical engineering field. His specialization includes geotechnical exploration and analysis, shallow and deep foundations, soil improvement, soil retention systems, and slope stability analysis. Masud's extensive expertise and leadership are instrumental in driving GESTRA's success and excellence in geotechnical engineering.

Shane oversees the Construction Materials Testing department at GESTRA, with over 29 years of experience as a technician and civil engineer. His specialization encompasses a wide array of areas within construction materials testing including field and laboratory testing of concrete, aggregate, and soils.  In addition, he has vast experience with the WisDOT Quality Management Program, project management, and civil engineering.

Doug leads the Geotechnical Engineering department with over 26 years of experience in the field. His expertise is extensive, covering various aspects of geotechnical engineering, including geotechnical exploration and analysis, shallow and deep foundations, construction materials testing and engineering, as well as construction oversight and inspection.

Brad is a senior engineer in the Geotechnical Department with over 25 years of experience. His experience covers a wide range of topics including geotechnical exploration and analysis related to shallow/deep foundations, soil improvement, and slope stability. Brad also has experience in construction materials testing and engineering primarily related to soil support.

Adam plays an important role at GESTRA as the drilling department supervisor, having over 20 years of experience in geotechnical drilling. His expertise spans over a range of drilling techniques, including SPT drilling, Mud Rotary Drilling, Pressuremeter Drilling, Rock Coring, and Vane Shear Testing.

Katie holds the position of Administrative Department Manager and has more than 12 years of
dedicated service at GESTRA within the administrative department. Her areas of specialization include recruitment, insurance matters, and ensuring safety and compliance within the organization.
