Work is generally Mon-Fri between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, with some Saturday and evening work. Employee would be primarily working out of the Milwaukee office, although occasional support of our Madison office may be necessary. Requirements
Ability to read and understand construction plans. Ability to read and understand construction plans. Good driving record and valid WI driver's license. High school graduate or equivalent required. Clear and concise English communication skills both written and verbal. Candidate will provide own construction appropriate clothing and footwear, safety equipment will be provided. Prior testing experience with residential and commercial construction. Basic experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. HTCP Certifications. Prior DOT testing experience. Certifications in PCC-TECI and ACI Level I. Nuclear density gauge safety trained
About the Company
GESTRA Engineering is looking for a motivated and reliable individual who would be responsible for sampling and testing of concrete, soil and asphalt from various construction projects throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. They would be primarily working unassisted (after certification completion) on construction sites. Work is primarily outdoors, with some laboratory testing. Must be able lift 50-80 lbs unassisted, traverse varying field conditions, and show care for equipment. Pay is based on level of prior experience, and valid applicable certifications.
